About Us

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities and following up on potential leads. This position acquires new customers/accounts through a variety of direct selling techniques. This position offers a competitive base salary which commensurate with experience and a lucrative unlimited commission plan. Total compensation expectation for this position is $80k to $500k per year.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Phone communication and direct sales contact is needed to acquire and develop business relationships
  • Present and sell company products/services to new and existing customers to drive sales growth
  • Monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by deadline(s)
  • Ability to learn and understand inventory and manufacturing capabilities
  • Schedule appointments and follow up appointments to build relationships and to keep customers informed of latest product offerings
  • Create sales material to present to customers
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects to attempt to turn them into customers
  • Update client information in the company contact database
  • Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communicate skills and demonstrate the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Must have strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated detail orientation
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines

Education/Experience:

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience
  • 4 year business or related degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheet software

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be willing to do some travelling
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Must be comfortable working with little to no direction

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a phone, computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
  • Requires the ability to communicate verbally, both in person and on the telephone

Work Environment:

  • This position is in a normal business office environment
  • Average office noise levels
  • Ambient temperature between 68 and 76 degrees
